CHOPIN CONCERTS IN POLONIA HOUSE
The Piano Recitals in Polonia House take place regularly throughout the year in Polonia House in Krakow. Eminent pianists from Poland and abroad, including Teresa Janina Czekaj, Marek Szlezer, Gajusz Kęska, Pawel Kubica, Mariusz Adamczak and Nikolaj Leopold Strauss perform works by Chopin.

FOLK SHOW
Folk Show is a cycle of musical events presenting Polish folk music, particularly the unique folk music of the Krakow region. The concerts are aimed in particular at foreign tourists who want to learn more about the sources of Polish folk tradition through music. The concerts are performed by soloists of folk music and dance ensemble (Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej "Krakus" im. Wiesława Białowąsa) that specializes in performances of original Polish folk art (including dances such as cracoviennes, mazurkas, kujawiaks and obereks) from different regions of Poland. Come and experience the joy of Polish folk dance!

OPERA & MUSICAL HITS IN THE GRAND HOTEL
The exclusive interiors of the Grand Hotel are used for performances of music from operas, operettas and musicals by a leading soloist in the Krakow Opera, Bożena Zawiślak-Dolny, and the Orpheus Ensemble. The concerts take place in the monumental fin de siecle 'Mirror Hall'. Monumental interiors of the Grand Hotel have hosted such luminaries as Henryk Sienkiewicz, Ignacy Jan Paderewski and Jan Kiepura.

"Music of the World" is a cycle of piano recitals by the recognised Chinese pianist Krystyna Man Li Szczepańska. In the stylish setting of the Mirror Hall in Krakow's Grand Hotel we will be treated to a rendition of masterpieces from the world canon of classical music. This original programme, which includes works from all over the globe, makes for a truly unforgettable, multicultural evening.

CONCERTS IN THE PIARIST CHURCH
Just inside the walls of the Old Town, at the intersection of Sw. Jana Street and Pijarska Street, close to the Czartoryski Museum, is the beautiful, late baroque Church of the Transfiguration (the Piarist Church). From the beginning of April 2007 this historic building will be the venue for concerts of classical music, focusing above all on sacral music. Pieces by J. S. Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart and others will be performed by the 'Sancta Cecilia' Ensemble and invited soloists.

CHOPIN AND SZYMANOWSKI IN VILLA 'ATMA'
The Villa Atma, a listed building nearly a century old that houses a department of the National Museum in Krakow, is located on one of the oldest streets in Zakopane, Kasprusie. It is the only museum in Poland dedicated to the life and works of Karol Szymanowski. This unique place takes its name from the Sanskrit word meaning complete peace of mind, which was a state attained by the gods. Currently the Villa Atma is a space where piano recitals of music by Karol Szymanowski and Fryderyk Chopin are held.

CONCERTS IN THE BOTANICAL GARDEN
Concerts in the Botanical Garden are a series of open-air concerts organized in the oldest garden in Poland - the Jagiellonian University's Botanical Garden. These concerts hark back to the tradition of listening to music in natural surroundings. The program includes classical pieces performed by the Orpheus ensemble and soloists.

CONCERTS IN JÓZEF MEHOFFER'S GARDEN
Series of open-air concerts in the garden of the House of Józef Mehoffer (departure of the National Musuem in Cracow) are organized in the very carefully restored garden designed by Józef Mefoffer - one of the most eminent artists of the Young Poland movement. The programme includes classical pieces and pieces arranged in modern style performed by "Archi Ensemble" and soloists.

CONCERTS OF JEWISH MUSIC
Concerts of Jewish and Gipsy music held in Kazimierz, the oldest - and today the most popular - district of Krakow. Performed by the Nazzar group in the post-industrial interior of the Galicia Jewish Museum, the group performs their own arrangements of classical Klezmer music infused with motifs of Jewish, Balkan, and Galician music, bringing together the traditional with elements of improvisation.
