There is so much to tell about Wroclaw – it is the largest city of Lower Silesia and the capital of this region at the same time. Like many other cities in Central Europe, it has quite complicated history. At different stages throughout history, Wroclaw belonged to the Kingdom of Poland, Bohemia, the Austrian Empire, Prussia and Germany. Known as Breslau until 1945, after the World War 2 it became Polish city again. Today is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Poland, full of stunning architecture with the second biggest square in the whole country. Town Hall, Salt Square or Cathedral Island with Tumski Bridge – all sites perfectly known by the visitors.
